Ice Sailing 2006

This year we haven't had a lot of snow......... It is making ice. Not as we would all like. The temps have created a mess for most ice fishermen. No ice out date this year the ice hasn't formed over the whole lake. Our lake is open creating a land owners nightmare! All wharfs that we thought were high and dry ended up being in the water due to not opening the dam to drop the water. The last couple of weeks the temp has dropped to form a smooth surface for one sailor. Here he is ice sailing! This is truly a beautiful sight to see. To listen to the sounds this sailor is making is a real treat. Ahoy!

Sunset

Good evening, just to let you see what I saw the other night when the sun was setting on Green Lake. It was the most colorful moments I have seen in a while. I tried to capture it as the colors danced the sky and reflected upon the water............. so enjoy! Lo Posted by Picasa
